The University of Texas School of Law began as The University of Texas at Austin’s Department of Law when the university was founded in 1883. The school has since grown to more than 1,200 students and offers the Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) and the Master of Laws (LL.M.).
Prof. Sokolow is the Distinguished Senior Lecturer at Texas Law, who teaches Contracts and Business Associations.
Throughout his lecture "Experience American Legal Education", Prof. Sokolow will explain the common law system, and teach a sample class to show how law is taught in America, a brief overview of the LLM Program at The University of Texas follows.
